About Graff

J.L. Graff is the Associate Dean for the IT programs in the College of Business and Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. Since 2002, he has served University of Phoenix in multiple capacities including enrollment, faculty scheduling, classroom operations and the Registrar’s Office.  

Graff has been a faculty member and mentor since 2008, and he has taught courses for the College of Business and Information Technology. He is a member of Epsilon Pi Tau and trustee for the University of Phoenix Delta Sigma Chapter.  

My philosophy is to develop curricula and programs that leverage the latest technologies and tools that will equip students with career-ready skills, knowledge and confidence to excel in the rapidly changing world of information technology.

My philosophy is to develop curricula and programs that leverage the latest technologies and tools that will equip students with career-ready skills, knowledge and confidence to excel in the rapidly changing world of information technology.

He also served as a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) Product Owner where he worked on enhancing and improving the University’s business agility. He has served as a member of the board of examiners for Southwest Alliance for Excellence (SWAE) and the Future Data Reporting Group for the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). He has served on committees for Pacific Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (PACRAO) and American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).   

Graff has a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Master of Business Administration, and he is enrolled in the Doctor of Education at the University of Phoenix. His dissertation topic is on cybersecurity in higher education. He is excited about the current and future state of information technology and helping students reach their academic and professional goals.
