About Djordjevich

After working as a Corporate Controller/CFO for the past 25+ years within the electronic recycling and bio-based industries, Danica Djordjevich is now the Chief Executive Officer for her own bio-based firm here in the valley (Phoenix). She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona (since 2008).

Djordjevich has been facilitating Corporate Finance, among other finance courses for the University of Phoenix since 2009. In 2009, when she embarked on the path to becoming an educator, she never dreamed that she would find her passion in helping others on their own journeys to bettering themselves and providing for their families. She is in constant awe of students with regard to their dedication and tenacity, in lieu of the difficulties and challenges they face in their everyday lives.

“As educators, we are put in a unique position where we are able to inspire and empower students to believe in themselves and motivate them in a way that has a lasting and positive effect on their lives,” said Djordjevich. “Sometimes, all it takes is for one person to say, ‘You can do this, I believe in you.’ That is the person I strive to be for my students.”
