Edward Spear has an extensive background as a Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer along with a robust academic training and teaching foundation and a commitment to continuous learning.
In his previous roles, he has consistently demonstrated his capacity to lead technology training initiatives, drive innovative solutions and ensure the highest standards of security and compliance. His experience aligns seamlessly with the responsibilities outlined for the Principal Technologist role.
At AT&T, he served as a Senior Virtual CIO/CISO Cyber SME, where he provided strategic training guidance on IT security, GRC, DLP, and Zero Trust Security Architecture.
His dedication to education is evident through his role as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix since 2002. Designing and teaching 400 undergraduate and graduate GRC/Cyber/Business courses for over 6,500 students reflects his commitment to knowledge dissemination and aligns with the University's values of Brave, Honest, and Focused.
His background in leading diverse teams, coupled with his ability to engage with both business and technical teams effectively, positions him well to contribute to the organization.
