The study of business analytics prepares you to assess business performance, operational metrics, financial data, and other information related to the effective management of a business. The study of data science prepares you to interpret factors such as geography and customer preferences and how they affect business outcomes for an organization. Both analytics and data science are important for business study. At University of Phoenix, you can explore a business analytics certificate and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science degree.
You’ll need 27 credits to complete the business analytics certificate online. You can also pursue the Bachelor Science in Business with a Business Analytics Certificate, which includes the core courses of the business analytics certificate as electives. With a bachelor’s degree you receive a broader scope of business knowledge and skills that can enhance your professional education beyond a business analytics certificate.
Depending on the transfer requirements of the college or university, you may be able to transfer your business analytics certificate credits.1
You can also enroll in the Bachelor of Science of Business with a Business Analytics Certificate program at University of Phoenix. The core business analytics certificate courses are already included as electives in the program.
1Transferability of credit is at the discretion of the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether credits earned at University of Phoenix will be accepted by another institution of the student’s choice.
Add completed certificates under the “Education” section of your resumé, including your business analytics certificate. Professional certificates like these, can align with in-demand skills employers want.
