Dr. Alana Morales currently holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction.
Dr. Morales is a lifelong educator with over twenty-four years of educational experience, ranging from teaching to administration. Her dissertation, entitled Secondary teachers' perceptions of professional development and teacher self-efficacy: A correlational study explored the relationship between teacher professional development and teacher self-efficacy.
Her research focuses on improving professional development experiences for educators, particularly at the secondary level. She has been published recently in The Phoenix Scholar and was a presenter at the 2021 Knowledge Without Boundaries conference.
