Dr. Andy Beran

Dr. Andy Beran is an Associate Faculty member in the business program with the College of Doctoral Studies, University of Phoenix. Andy graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Sociology and Urban Studies. He later graduated from Northwestern University with an MBA in Finance and Accounting. Andy received his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and completed his dissertation on the acceptance and adoption of shared autonomous vehicles by older adults.

Andy started his career with the Intel Corporation and rose to the senior executive level before retiring after 21 years. Andy transitioned to being an entrepreneur and small business owner; starting, growing, and eventually selling several businesses in different industries. After selling his last business, he returned to school to earn his doctorate and begin a third career as a Professor, consultant, and volunteer mentor to small business owners.
