Dr. Carla Harris

Dr. Carla M. Harris earned a Bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Sciences, a Master’s of Divinity, a Post Master’s Certificate in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctorate in Education.

Dr. Harris has thirteen years of educational experience in early childhood. Her research focused on the effects of integrating play-based learning into the classroom. Dr. Harris believes play-based learning inspires discoveries and wants to see play-based learning implemented in the K-12 academic setting to help students be successful in their lifelong learning.

Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with family, volunteering and journaling. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
