Dr. Jessica Flores

Dr. Jessica Flores recently completed her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Administration. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Information Systems. Professionally, she has served nontraditional students in a variety of compliance-related roles at University of Phoenix since 2002.

She enjoys facilitating conversations on difficult topics such as sexual assault, relationship violence, and mental health issues. Jessica’s dissertation topic focused on the experiences and perceptions of nontraditional adult learners who completed a relationship abuse program. In addition to expanding on this research, she is also interested in researching disparities in higher education and the workplace among the LGBTQ+ community as well as suicide among college students through the lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
