2024 Presidential Awards for DEIB Excellence [Nominations Open]

The Research, Scholarship, and Thought Leadership (RSTL) working group (within the UOPX President’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council) is seeking nominations for the 2024 Presidential Awards for DEIB Excellence in the following three categories:

1. Research (open to all within UOPX)

2. Scholarship (non-research focused) (open to all within UOPX)

3. Dissertation (open to all UOPX doctoral students)

These prestigious awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of those who have positively contributed to others through initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging Winners will be honored on Friday, October 18, 2024, during the annual Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit. We encourage all within our University to submit a nomination (including self-nominations and the nominations of others) for these recognitions. Submissions are accepted by emailing evidence of performance to workplacediversity@phoenix.edu. Please add the category for consideration within the subject line of your email.

Evidence of performance can include:

1. The publication or article in Word or PDF

2. A link to the published publication, article, or presentation

3. A PowerPoint presentation (including a brief description of the presentation location)

4. A PDF of a dissertation

For award consideration, activities should have been completed between August 2022 and August 2024.
